Feature and Follow, #26

It's time once again for the Feature and Follow Blog Hop hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read? The Feature and Follow Blog Hop is an excellent chance to connect with other bloggers and answering questions about our favorite books. Here's this week's question:

Happy Mardi Gras! If they were throwing the HOTTEST books off of a Mardi Gras float--what would you do to have them throw it to you?

Oops, I completely misread this week's question and prepared a post on if they were throwing hot books, what would it be. I think I'll keep that answer too cause it's a lot of fun, but let me go ahead and answer the true question first.

"Hey throw me something mister!" I lived in New Orleans for three years and saw quite a lot during Mardi Gras (and lots of things I can't unsee). The parades were so much fun and my most cherished set of beads came from Harry Connick, Jr. when he was Grand Marshal of Orpheus. His float stopped right in front of us and I ended up with about ten strands of beads (ok...he dropped them on accident, but hey they went from his hands...fumble...to me so it totally counts!)  I did have several friends who had no problems showing everything they had to offer and I got some beads by association. But I never showed anything that I wouldn't want my mama to witness in order to get beads and I wouldn't to get books either no matter how hot. Now, a funny costume, that could be arranged.

Well, that question answered and we've relived my Mardi Gras debauchery, let me dive in to what I thought the question said: If they were throwing the hottest book off the float, what would you want them to throw you?

If they were to throw books off a float (and if they did you better have good reflexes to catch them so they wouldn't hit you in the face) then I would want one of Olivia Cunning's books. She writes HAWT books about these incredibly sexy rockers!!! If you ever wanted to live vicariously as a rock groupie or girlfriend then you've got to check out the sexy, tattooed, and often naked guys of Sinners & Sole Regret (Hot Ticket just came out this week and it's my current read)!

If you're looking for a wicked, long....erm...read, then the full length novels of the Sinners on Tour series are what you need. If you're more in the mood for a quickie, then the novella stories in the One Night with Sole Regret series are perfect. No matter which you may choose (and I would go with all of them), these books are all in turn hot, funny, sweet, touching, and hot...oh, did I say that already? You're guaranteed to fall in love with at least one member of the band as they get you hot and bothered playing out your rock 'n roll fantasies.

Well, I'm off for some more quality time with Jace from Hot Ticket. What hot book would you want thrown to you?

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee's View & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.

    1. I had friends who were adamant about not flashing, but you get a few drinks in them (it is Mardi Gras after all) and they got a bit frisky :) Happy Friday!

  4. I'm envious. Living in Manila, I have never had the chance to attend, let alone see, a Mardi Gras celebration. Sounds awesome and wickedly fun though!!

The books do sound veeery hot. I like that you said "hot and bothered". They do give us that reaction, don't they? Hehe.
